Kathy’s Basic Meatballs

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup oil
3 garlic mashed
1 tablespoon adobo (All Purpose Seasoning)
1 tablespoon of Honey Mustard
1 egg
1/2 cup of bread crumbs

For quick sauce:
1/2 tomato diced
1/2 onion, diced
1 cup ketchup
1 packet of Sazon Goya
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups water

Preparation:
1) Mix the meat with the garlic, mustard, adobo, egg and crumbs (Mix)
2) Heat the oil in the pan
3) Make small balls, place them in the hot pan, fry briefly (2 min appx) each side.
4) Take on a plate.

Quick Salsa:
1) Place oil in a pan, add onion and tomato, cook until soft onion and tomato.
2) Add ketchup, goya seasoning, water, and meat balls
3) Cook for 8 -10 minutes on medium heat (covered)
4) Servemeatballs

Tips:
Although usually eaten with pasta, in Latin America  is also eaten with white rice accompanied by a refreshing salad.
