Johnny Cakes recipe from the Bay Islands.

Hello:

This bread brings me a lot of good memories, sitting outside with my grandmother, waiting for the man selling hot Johnny Cakes for $0.50 each. Let me tell you, this bread is delicious . The recipe says to bake it in the oven , but if you have a chance to bake it slowly in a fire pit covered inside a deep pot hhmmmm, that is something else!Here a some pictures below , to give you an idea:
